Dwenger Third At Girls State Gymnastics Meet: Homestead Eighth (With Video)

MUNCIE (www.incnow.tv) - Bishop Dwenger finished third Saturday at the girls state gymnastics meet at Ball State behind champion Portage and runnerup Valparaiso.

The Saints totaled 110.975, trailing Portage's 112.600 and Valparaiso's 112.100.

Angola's Alex Nickel was northeast Indiana's top performer with a second in the all around, a second in the floor and a third on the bars.

Dwenger's best event was the floor, with a fourth from Kaitlyn Coffee, and a tie for sixth with Katy Linvill and Alexis Eddy.

Homestead finished eighth at 102.850.
