INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Despite some misgivings from those who attended the girls state basketball finals in Terre Haute last March, the Indiana High School Athletic Association board has voted unanimously to return the finals there for another year.
Terre Haute's bid was taken over bids from the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, host of the finals in 2010 and 2011, and Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
IHSAA commissioner Bobby Cox called the decision one made in giving the city with the best bid the finals again.
