Leo, Snider Advance With Sectional Tennis Wins

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Leo and Snider grabbed first round wins Wednesday at the Carroll girls tennis sectional.

Leo got singles wins from Madison Carroll and Laura Matrisiano and both doubles for a 4-1 win over Northrop.

McKenzie Holb and Sara Wyall scored in singles for Snider in their 3-2 win over Blackhawk Christian.

Snider meets Carroll and Leo takes on Bishop Dwenger Thursday in the semifinals.

At Concordia, Bishop Luers ousted Harding 5-0 and will meet South Side in Thursday's semifinals while Concordia bested New Haven 5-0 to advance to meet North Side

At DeKalb, Dekalb blanked Prairie Heights 5-0 and Angola tipped Fremont 3-2 and DeKalb and Angola play for the title Thursday afternoon.
