UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Bishop Luers pulled away to beat Wayne in the first game under interim head coach Kyle Lindsay, and Garrett knocked Bluffton from the ranks of the unbeaten Friday night.
Jaquale Cooper and Jy'quel Jamison ran for touchdowns, Noah Wesensky throw a scoring pass to Jaylon Smith and Kendrick Mullen returned one of his two interceptions for a score as Luers took down Wayne 27-7, with Kyle Lindsay winning his head coaching debut after stepping in for his father, longtime Knights head coach Matt Lindsay who has taken a leave of absence for medical and personal reasons.
Brandon Porter ran for three touchdowns and 167 yards as Garrett held off Bluffton 36-34, handing the Tigers their first loss of the season. Noah Follett threw for two touchdowns for the Railroaders, while Josh Streveler ran for two scores for Bluffton.
