FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) -- Sherwood Haydock will be the new head football coach at Woodlan.

The 11 year veteran at Harding with a 2A state title in 2006 and a record of 75-54 in those 11 Harding years will replace Barry Ehle, who stepped down at the end of the season.

The 52 year old Haydock accepted the position today after the East Allen County school board authorized offering it to him last night.

Haydock had wanted to remain in East Allen with Harding's upcoming closing.
