FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - Jaylon Smith and Somer Johnson were the big winners Monday night of two annual Summit Athletic Conference awards.
Smith, the standout Bishop Luers linebacker and running back and Notre Dame recruit, was given the Euell Wilson Award as the SAC's top football player.
Johnson, the senior hitter from Snider who is headed to IPFW, received the Glass Spike Award as the conference's top volleyball player.
Snider also won the two coach of the year honors given out, Kirk Tippmann in football and Brooke Sellhorn in volleyball.
