Baseball Postseason Back On Thursday

UNDATED (AP) - Baseball has a two-day break before the start of
the League Championship Series. The National League gets the
pennant showdown started when Philadelphia hosts Los Angeles
Thursday night. The Dodgers posted the only sweep of the division
series round when they ousted the Cubs in three games. The Dodgers
have been taking it easy since Saturday.
LA manager Joe Torre plans to send 35-year-old right-hander
Derrek Lowe to the mound. He went 14-and-11 during the regular
season.
Cole Hamels gets the ball for the Phillies. The 24-year-old
lefty posted a 14-and-10 regular-season record.

Tampa Bay is back home after Tuesday's Game-Four win over the
White Sox in Chicago and is getting set to entertain Boston in Game
One of the ALCS Friday evening.
The Red Sox advanced with Tuesday night's Game-Four win over the
visiting Los Angeles Angels.
