Browns Back In Playoff Hunt

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - Derek Anderson threw a pair of
touchdowns and Jamal Lewis scored on a 31-yard run with 1:22 left
as the Cleveland Browns beat the New York Jets 24-18.
Joe Jurevicius (joor-ih-VIH'-shuhs) recovered two late onside
kicks as the Browns moved to 8-and-5 and improved their chances for
a wild card spot.
Lewis finished with 118 yards on 21 carries.
The Jets made it 17-12 on Kellen Clemens' one-yard sneak with
2:59 left, but his 2-point conversion pass to Chris Baker fell
incomplete.
Clemens completed 24-of-41 passes for 286 yards but threw two
costly interceptions.
The Jets dropped to 3-and-10.
