2011 TinCaps Being Gathered In Arizona

PEORIA, ARIZONA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The roster of the 2011 TinCaps is almost complete, days before they fly north to begin their season.

New manager Shawn Wooten says roster shifts throughout the San Diego Padres organization due to promotions and injuries have kept things from being finalized but he thinks he has a good idea who will join him in Fort Wayne.

The new TinCaps will arrive Sunday afternoon in Fort Wayne and open the season against South Bend on Thursday at 7:05 at Parkview Field.

A Meet The Team event will be held on Wednesday, the night before the opener at 5pm at Parkview Field.
