(Fort Wayne) - Ryan Potts is the latest Fort Wayne native to try to make the Komets rosters, but the first with a relative in the club's storied past.

Potts' grandfather is Reggie Primeau, one of the few players to have his number retired by the Komets.

Potts, 26, who has played high school, college, and lower level pro hockey, has taken time from his regular job at Lincoln Financial for this quest to be a Komet, and says he just wants to play a contributing role.
