Komets Win 8 th In Last 9 Games

(FORT WAYNE) - The surging Fort Wayne Komets defeated Bloomington for the second time in as many nights to close to within one point of IHL - leading Port Huron. Mark Versteeg - Lytwyn, Konstantin Shafranov, Rick Varone, and Brian Boulay scored in the K's 4 - 2 victory. The Komets have the opportunity to gain more ground on Port Huron this week when they host last - place Flint Wednesday and Friday at Memorial Coliseum
