Komets Top Bloomington, Edge Closer To Huber Trophy

(Fort Wayne) - Justin Hodgman and Sean O'Connor had the goals and Nick Boucher stopped 29 of 30 shots in goal as the Komets slipped past the Bloomington Prairie Thunder 2-1 Wednesday night,

The win moved the K's within a point of clinching the Huber Trophy that goes to the International Hockey League's regular season points champion.

The game was stopped after the opening faceoff to mark the appearance by veteran defenseman Guy Dupuis in his 867th game in a Fort Wayne uniform, surpassing the mark held for 43 years by Eddie Long.
