(Fort Wayne) - Baer Field Speedway will open its 47th season this Saturday despite a fire Sunday night that destroyed part of one of the track's concession stands.
An electrical problem is believed to have triggered the blaze.
The track itself is unaffected and thus the Opening Night program, rained out last Saturday night, will go on this week.
