(Fort Wayne) - Taylor Kinzer, the Homestead grad and Taylor University pitcher drafted in the 24th round last week by the Los Angeles Angels, has agreed to terms on a contract and left early Tuesday for the Angels' minor league camp in Arizona.
Kinzer says the Angels were drawn to him because he has matured in the last year and has command of his changeup.
He expects to be assigned to Oren, Utah of the Pioneer League for the start of their season in a few weeks.
