(Fort Wayne) - The Komets had a busy Thursday in front of the Fourth of July Holiday weekend.
They signed two of their veteran players, forward P.C. Drouin and defenseman Kevin Bertram along with defenseman Matt Woodard and Forward Vince Laise.
The K's also picked up two players in the Kalamazoo dispersal draft, right winger Justin Cross and swingman Blair Stayzer.
Then, in the expansion draft, they lost wingers Mark Versteeg Lytwyn and Mathieu Curadeau to Dayton, and goalie Sebastien Laplante to Quad City.
