UNDATED (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots took victories in Saturday's NFL Divisional Playoff games.
Alex Smith threw three touchdown passes, including the one to Vernon Davis with 14 seconds left in regulation, and the San Francisco 49ers came from behind for a 36-32 win over New Orleans in their NFC Divisional Playoff game Saturday.
New Orleans overcame a 17-0 deficit and four first half turnovers to take a 32-29 lead with 1;37 left on Drew Brees' fourth touchdown pass of the game, but Smith drove the 49ers to the winning score, his second scoring connection of the game to Davis.
The 49ers now await the winner of Sunday's New York Giants-Green Bay in next week's NFC conference final.
Tom Brady threw six touchdown passes, five of them in the first half, and the New England Patriots battered the Denver Broncos 45-10 in their AFC Divisional Playoff game.
Three of Brady's scoring passes went to Rob Gronkowski.
New England held Denver's Tim Tebow to 9 of 26 passing for just 136 yards, sacked him five times, and forced him to fumble once.
The Patriots will host either Houston or Baltimore in the AFC Championshop game
