UNDATED (AP) - It will be Cliff Lee pitching for the
Philadelphia Phillies against Colorado's Ubaldo Jimenez
in Game 1 of the NL Division Series.
Phillies manager Charlie Manuel selected Lee over Cole Hamels,
the 2008 NLCS and World Series MVP. Hamels will oppose Aaron Cook
in Game 2.
The Rockies say 16-game winner Jorge De La Rosa will miss the
first-round playoff series due to an injured left groin that forced
him to leave his last outing prematurely. De La Rosa had a major
league-leading 16 victories after June 1.

In the other NLDS, Chris Carpenter starts for St. Louis in Game
1 tomorrow in Los Angeles against Randy Wolf of the Dodgers. Game 2
will have Adam Wainwright throwing for the Cardinals versus Clayton
Kershaw.

New York Yankees skipper Joe Girardi has picked CC Sabathia
to start their AL Division Series opener against Minnesota, followed by A.J. Burnett for the second game and
Andy Pettitte for Game 3.

Boston and the Los Angeles Angels open their AL division series
Thursday in Anaheim. Jon Lester, Josh Beckett and Clay Buchholz
make up the Red Sox's rotation. Angels manager Mike Scioscia
will go with John Lackey against Lester in the opener
before starting Jered Weaver and Scott Kazmir.
