Sims Family Affair In Komets Training Camp

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Komets coach Al Sims has 27 players remaining on the club's training camp roster, including his son, goaltender Tyler Sims.

The younger Sims is trying to make the team as the backup goaltender after four solid years of college hockey at Providence and some brief stays in the East Coast and Central Hockey Leagues.

Al Sims says the two have clearly defined their roles, coach and player at the rink, father and son away from it.
