FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Former Freedom coach Willie Davis, Jr. has been named the head coach of the Fort Wayne Firehawks for their inaugural season in the Continental Indoor Football League.
Davis was coach of the now defunct Freedom in 2008 for much of the season until he was fired late in the season.
He remained in Fort Wayne, and was an assistant coach at Woodlan High School this past season.
