UNDATED (indiana's NewsCenter) - The IHL announced Monday that he Komets' Tim Haun has been named Goaltender of the Week and defenseman Bobby Phillips Rookie of the Week.
Haun was a perfect 3-0, stopping 87 of 90 shots and the notched the team's first shutout of the season Sunday in Dayton.
He leads IHL goaltenders with a 2.18 goals-against average and in unbeaten in his last five games
Phillips scored his first pro goal in the Komets' 3-2 home win over Bloomington Friday and followed up with his first career multi-point game Saturday with two assists in the 4-2 victory over Muskegon.
Phillips leads the Komets in plus/minus with +16.
The Komets also regained winger Matt Syroczynski after his release by the AHL Norfolk Admirals where he had six goals and ten points in 30 games.
