Komets Regain Winning Touch, Top Quad City

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Komets won their sixth straight home game 4-1 Friday night over the Quad City Mallards, moving to 7-0-0-1 against Quad City this season..

Leo Thomas, P.C. Drouin, and Kaleigh Schrock helped build a 3-1 lead and Brad MacMillan finished the night with an empty net goal late in the third period.

Nick Boucher turned aside 33 of 34 Quad City shots.

The Komets travel to Port Huron Sunday.
