DAYTON, OHIO (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Colin Chaulk broke a 2-2 tie with a goal at 5:10 of the third period Friday night and the Komets went on to 4-2 win over the Dayton Gems Friday night.
Leo Thomas and Brad MacMillan also scored for the K's and Matt Syroczynski hit an empty net for the final margin.
Tim Haun stopped 31 of 33 shots in goal for the win.
The Komets host Flint Saturday night.
