Komets Whitewash Bloomington

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Komets kicked off a busy week of three games in four nights, all at home, with a 5-0 win over the Bloomington PrairieThunder Wednesday night.

Sean O'Connor netted a pair of goals for the K's who also had scores from Konstantin Shafranov, Colin Chaulk, and Justin Chwedoruk.

Tim Haun notched his third shutout and 22nd win of the season with 25 saves.

The Komets now trail league leader Muskegon by eight points and second place Port Huron by just one point, and both are here this weekend, Port Huron on Friday night and Muskegon on Saturday night.
