DETROIT (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Johnny Damon homered in his first game against his old team, the New York Yankees, and it helped the Detroit Tigers beat the Yankees 5-4 Monday night.
Brennan Boesch had a two run single in the first and added an RBI triple in the seventh to give the Tigers a 5-2 lead.
Before the game, The Tigers honored their late Hall of Fame broadcaster Ernie Harwell, who died last week.
