Ants Deal Russell To Reno, Regain Johnson From Pacers

FORT WAYNE (www.incnow.tv) - The Mad Ants have traded veteran point guard Walker Russell, Jr..to the Reno Bighorns for Anthony Richardson and Jack McClinton.

Richardson will join the team for this Friday's game against the Texas Legends and McClinton will join the team after this weekend.

Russell has been a staple with the Mad Ants over the course of its five and a half seasons, and he has been one of the team's most decorated players.

He has been named to the NBA D-League All Star team multiple teams and received a Gatorade Call Up last season to the Detroit Pistons.

The Indiana Pacers have re-assigned rookie guard Orlando Johnson to the Mad Ants.

In his previous two-game assignment with Fort Wayne, Johnson averaged 22.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals
