Ants Win Game 1 of Finals; Need 1 More For Title

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (21Alive) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants moved within one game of a NBA Development League Championship on Thursday with a 102-92 win at Santa Cruz.

Ants forward Tony Mitchell led all scores with 25 points. D-League Co-Most Valuable Player Ron Howard added 23.

Game 2 of the finals will be played Saturday at 7 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum. A win would give the Ants their first ever league title.

A winner-takes-all Game 3, if necessary, will be Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum.
