Auger Goal Nets Road Win For Komets

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (21 Alive) - Chris Auger tallied a shorthanded goal late in the third period to break a scoreless tie and give the Komets a 1-0 win over Evansville Sunday night.

The Komets' Ben Meisner and the Icemen's Mike Clemente matched shutouts in goalup to that point, and Meisner went on to get his by stopping all 35 Evansville shots he faced.

The K's in the midst of a two week stretch on the road, next play at Kalamazoo on Saturday night.
