Boucher Returns To Komets For Fifth Season

FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) The Komets announced Wednesday that veteran goaltender Nick Boucher has agreed to terms for the upcoming 2011-12 season, his fifth with the hockey club.

Boucher helped the Komets to three straight International Hockey League Turner Cup Championships in 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10, and was IHL Goaltender of the Yea in 2008-09 as well as the Komets' Most Valuable Player that year.

He posted a 2.96 goal against average last season, going 18-15-6 with two shutouts.

The Komets have also signed rookie forward Todd McIlrath, who played the last two seasons in the AAHL wih Battle Creek and Troy.
