Fort Wayne (incnow.tv)- Colin Chaulk had some pretty big wins over 10 years with the Komets but in some ways the win that he went home with on Wednesday night in the Coliseum might have been the sweetest. Kalamazoo, who Chaulk is an assistant with handed the Komets 3-2 overtime loss after Matt Caria scored at the 3:32 mark in the extra session.

The Komets had plenty of opportunities to get the win, including Scott Fleming just moments before the game ended, when the rookie just couldn't get a shot off on a wide open net.

Shawn Szydlowski opened the scoring in the first period and new Komet, forward Christian Ouellet scored in his debut.

The Komets now head on the road on Friday night to take on Toledo. That game can be seen live on MyTV Fort Wayne, Kent Hormann will be on the call, 7:15pm is the start time.
