INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Andrew Luck threw a touchdown pass on his first play and the Colts took that cue to go on to a 38-3 romp over the St. Louis Rams in the preseason opener for both teams Sunday.
Luck flipped a short pass to Donald Brown who took it in 63 yards on the Colts' and Luck's first offensive play.
Luck later tossed a 23 yard score to Austin Collie and in less that two full quarters of play passed for 188 yards on 10 of 16 passing.
His backups also played well, with Drew Stanton going 8 of 11 for 83 yards, and Norwell alum Chandler Harnish hitting all three of his passes for 52 yards, including a 33 yard score to Jeremy Ross.
The Colts next go to Pittsburgh next Sunday night.
