KANSAS CITY (www.incnow.tv) - Andrew Luck found Reggie Wayne in the back of the end zone with a seven yard touchdown pass with 4:08 to play to give the Colts a 20-13 Sunday win over Kansas City and a spot in the AFC playoffs.
Luck, who had struggled early in the game, found his groove on the game winning drive, started after the Colts stopped Kansas City on fourth and inches deep in Indianapolis territory
He threw for 205 yards and became the new all time leader in passing yards by an NFL rookie quarternback in one season.
Darius Butler scored on an early interception return for a touchdown and Adam Vinatieri booted a pair of field goals for the other Colts points.
Kansas City lost despite gaining 507 yards on offense, 352 of them on the ground, and 226 of those by Jamaal Charles, who scored the Chiefs' lone touchdown on an 86 yard run on the first play of the third quarter.
The win comes the day before head coach Chuck Pagano returns to the team after his successful battle against leukemia
