Fort Wayne (Indiana's NewsCenter)- He has been a pillar in between the pipes for the Komets for the last five years but his sixth year with the team could be in jeopardy.
Boucher had surgery on Thursday to repair bone spurs in his right hip joint and according to sources the damage that doctors found was worse than expected. Doctors had to perform microfractures instead of just scraping the spurs. The additional damage will cause Boucher to be out at least a month longer then originally expected, putting him out through at least January.
Boucher has won 4 cups with the Komets in the last 5 seasons.
