DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Rain Sunday forced the first ever postponement in the 54 year history of the Daytona 500.
The race will now be run on Monday at noon, and MyFox Fort Wayne will air it live.
Rain began to fall early Sunday, and while it subsided for a while in the afternoon, the prospect of more rain Sunday evening led to the postponement.
