MEDINAH, ILLINOIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Europe erased a 10-6 deficit on the final day Sunday and retained the Ryder Cup with a 14 1/2 to 13 1/2 win over the United States.
The 8 1/2 to 3 1/2 rally was capped by Martin Kaymer's six foot putt on the 18th hole that beat Steve Stricker. and clinched the win.
The American loss came with their anchor players, Stricker and Tiger Woods, failing to win a single point in the three day event.
