FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Eight year pro basketball veteran Vernard Hollins hosted a big day of basketball at South Side High School on Saturday.
The one time North Side and Wright State standout and Indiana's NewsCenter Boys Basketball Player of the Year in 1999, had a signing session for his new autobiographical book "The Disease That Did Not Kill The Dream" in addition to hosting all star games for kids who took part in his initial year basketball camps in Fort Wayne last summer.
This year's sessions at the Imagine school gym continue through August.
