EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Backup quarterback David Carr threw for two touchdowns as the New York Giants routed the Chicago Bears 41-13 Monday night in NFL poreseason football.
Despite having Jay Cutler throw for 171 yards in the first half, the Bears trailed 20-6 at the break, and did not find the endzone until Khalil Bell scored from a yard out with 24 seconds left in the game.
The game was costly to the Giants who lost cornerback and leading tackler Terrell Thomas to a season ending knee injury.
