Komets Fall To Florida In Third Period

(Fort Wayne, Indiana) -- Playing their traditional Thanksgiving night game, the Fort Wayne Komets fell to Florida 3 - 1 at Memorial Coliseum. Defenseman Jace Coyle gave the Komets a 1 - 0 lead with a first period power play goal, but the Everblades scored three goals in the third period to take the victory. Fort Wayne fell to 6 - 6 - 1 - 2 for the season. The Komets play in Kalamazoo Friday night, then return to take on Florida again Saturday at the Coliseum.
