Komets Add 2 Rookies For Training Camp

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Two rookies joined the Fort Wayne Komets' preseason roster on Thursday.

The K's announced the signings of defenseman Ian Barteau and forward Eric Faille. The two will be in the training camp lineup when it starts Oct. 5.

Barteaux, 26, of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, joins the Komets after a split between his 5th year senior season at University of Alberta and with Bakersfield.

Faille, 25, makes his professional debut out of the University of Moncton in Australia.

The Komets preseason roster of 16 players: 10 forwards, 5 defensemen and 1 goaltender.
