Komets Add Three Defensemen

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) - The reboot of the Fort Wayne Komets continued Tuesday with the addition of three players to the roster.

The K's signed defensemen Simon Danis-Pepin, Nik Pokulok and Jeremy gates.

Danis-Pepis comes to Fort Wayne through a trade from San Francisco, where he spent part of this past ECHL season. Danis-Pepis also had a stint with Orlando. He scored three points and ten goals in his fifth season.

Pokulok comes to the Komets from a partial season in Stockton, where he had two goals and three points in the playoffs.

Gates returns to the K's for his second season. He had 1 goal and 4 points in 17 games in Fort Wayne, and spent the postseason with Gary Graham and Pensacola during their SPHL championship run.
