Komets Beat Dayton but Cut 7 Players

(Fort Wayne)- The Komets ended their 2 game exhibition season with a 3-1 win over Dayton on Sunday. New players Brett Smith, Bobby Chaumont and Jamie Milam all made their mark in the win.

The K's did cut 7 players after the game with Jordy Trottier, Eric Yngwe, Fredric Korduner, Adam Krug, Shane Heffernan, Todd McIlrath and Olivier Hotte no longer with the team.

Remember Monday is "Sound Off with the Komets" night live from Wrigley Field Bar and Grill. Be sure to tune in at 7:30 on 21Alive or come down to Wrigley. Goalie Nick Boucher and defensman Frankie DeAngelis will be our guests.
