EVANSVILLE (www.incnow.tv) - The Komets took a 4-1 setback at Evansville Wednesday night in the first meeting with their instate divisional rival in almost two months.
J.M. Rizk, the K's hottest scorer in recent weeks, netted the only Fort Wayne goal in the third period.
Earlier in the day, the Komets lost two of their best offensive players when Thomas Beauregard was placed on the 21 day inured list and Corey Elkins, the ECHL Player of the Week, was summoned to Norfolk of the American Hockey League.
The K's next skate at Cincinnati Friday night.
