Fort Wayne (Indiana's NewsCenter)- The Komets worked all season long to make sure they would have home ice when it counted and on Tuesday night it payed off. The K's dominated play in game 6 of the Turner Conference Finals on their way to a 4-1 win over Missouri.

For the first time in the series the Komets scored the first goal of the game, a Jamie Milam rebound shot of his own miss, and that allowed them to get the home crowd into the game. All four of the Charlie Effinger goals were on rebounds as the K's peppered him with 47 shots.

On the other end of the ice, Nick Boucher was solid in net, making 31 saves.

The series now moves to game 7 in the Coliseum on Thursday night at 7:30pm. Tickets go on sale at the Coliseum box office at 10am.
