Komets Get Graham First Win As Coach (VIDEO)

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (21 Alive) - Second period goals by Scott Fleming, Chris Auger, and Mickey Lang pushed the Komets to their 3-1 win over the Las Vegas Wranglers Friday night, the K's first win under new head coach Gary Graham.

After a scoreless first period, Fleming got the K's on the board less than three minutes into the second period, and two minutes later Auger would make it 2-0.

Las Vegas closed to within a goal, but then Mickey Lang on the power play scored his fourth goal in as many game to restore the two goal lead.

And there it stayed behind the play of Andrey Makarov, who turned back 26 of 27 shots in his first game since joining the team from Rochester of the AHL on Thursday.

The Komets and Wrangler meet again Saturday night in the second of the games to be telecast on MyTV Fort Wayne at 10pm.
