Komets Get Past Quad City

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Komets got second period goals from Chris Auger and Brett Smith that made the difference in their 3-2 win at Quad City Friday night

Artem Podshendyalov assisted on both of those goals, and had the other Fort Wayne score in the first period.

Nick Boucher stopped 30 of the 32 shots he faced.

The Komets host Dayton Saturday night.
