(Bloomington, Illinois) -- The short - handed Fort Wayne Komets showed some true character by winning in Bloomington Sunday night, downing the Blaze 5 - 3. Goalie Nick Boucher and defenseman Bryant Molle missed the game since they have been indefintely suspended by the CHL for their part in a brawl during Friday's loss to Bloomington in Fort Wayne. Captain Colin Chaulk also missed the game with concussion - like symptoms. Jean - Michel Rizk, Brett Smith, Kaleigh Schrock, Tom Mele, and Artem Podshendyalov scored goals for the K's. The Komets play in Tulsa Tuesday.
