Komets Keep Schrock & Embach

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - Two key components of the 2013-14 Fort Wayne Komets will skate again at Memorial Coliseum next season.

Wingers Kaleigh Schrock and Mike Embach agreed to terms for the 2014-15, the franchise said Friday.

Schrock, 29, of Fort Wayne, will play his sixth season for his hometown team. Schrock scored 13 points (5 goals, 8 assists) and won the True Komet Award last season.

Embach, 26, of Orland Park, Ill., will be in his fourth professional season. He came to the K's in December after spending the first part of the season with Cincinnati and Gwinnett. Embach scored 28 goals and 25 assists (53 points), and won the Unsung Hero Awards.
