FORT WAYNE (Indiana's NewsCenter) - With star goalie Nick Boucher set to miss a part or all of the 2012-13 season following hip surgery, the Komets are in the process of finding one or two goalies for the upcoming season.
Club president Michael Franke said Friday the club had known of this possibility of Boucher's missing time for over a month, and have been making contigency plans.
Franke says right now the plan is to sign a prime goaltender, they either get a second one from the pro ranks via an American Hockey League team, or to possible sign that second goaltender.
The first goaltending move could come as early as next week.
