Fort Wayne (Indiana's NewsCenter)- At this point it might be a better idea for the Komets to not have home ice advantage in the playoffs. The K's dropped to 1-5 in their last 6 home games with a 5-2 loss to Quad City Wednesday night.

Colin Chaulk got scoring started with a first period goal but after taking a 1-0 lead, the K's gave up the next 4. Stephon Thorne got it back to 4-2 with a goal in the 3rd but that was it for the K's.

The only good news for the Komets was Evansville also lost on Wednesday so the K's maintain a 1 point lead on first place in the conference with 3 games to go in the regular season.
