TOLEDO, Ohio (21 Alive) - Mike Embach banged home a rebound off the cross bar with 1:13 remaining in regulation Sunday to snap a 2-2 tie and help the Komets to a 4-2 win over the Toledo Walleye.
Emback pounced on the carom off the shot of Shawn Szydlowski and bagged his 21st goal of the season.
Brandon Marino tallied the first two Komet goals, each which game the Komets a lead which each time Toledo erased with scores of their own.
Former Walleye Aaron Clarke hit an empty net in the final minute for the final margin.
The win moves the K's back to sole possession of the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff spot, and they host Orlando on Wednesday.
