ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO (www.incnow.tv) - Six different Komets found the back of the net to help the K's outscore the Colorado Eagles 6-5 Friday night.
Eric Giosa, Garrett Klotz, Brett Smith, and Brandon Marino scored first period goals to stake the Komets to a 4-3 lead after one period.
Colorado tied the game in the second only to have Ryan Hegarty put the K's back in front.
Then after the Eagles tied the game again in that period, Ryan Hegarty gave the Komets the lead for good with a shorthanded goal.
Matt Firman hit an important insurance goal in the third period that ended up being the difference in the game.
The two teams end their three game series in Colorado on Saturday night.
